The following are additions to burials that were not noted in the copies
of the Witherspoon Cemetery's pages. Received from Kenneth D. Milam in
the last couple of days. Kenneth was born and raised in Vandervoort and
lived just west of the cemetery. Thank you Kenneth for your additions:

Milam, Laura V., 1-25-1870 to 8-14-1928. She is buried just south of
her father, William S. Mayo in an unidentified grave. I have erected a
headstone last year (1996).

Hicks, Loyd Sims, 7-16-1913 to 2-18-1997. He is buried in the SE corner
in the area of Charley Smedley. A headstone is erected at his grave.

Hicks, Sudie E., 1-16-1896 to 4-9-1984

Kenner, Eudora, 1-6-1872 to 8-30-1959. "Dora" is buried next to John
Keener and has a single matching headstone.

This concludes the listing of graves at the Witherspoon Cemetery,
Vandervoort, AR, Polk County as of November 24, 1997.

Please visit the Polk County Library.  There is a genealogy section at the library.  Or, check www.FindaGrave.com as the Polk County Genealogy Society (Mary L Broderick)  is attempting to put all of this information on the FindAGrave site along with the Markers for the Graves.  It is a massive undertaking.
