Joseph Dickerson from North Carolina married Lucretia Smith of Tennessee.
They settled in Carroll County, Arkansas and raised a family of ten
children. Their sixth child, Robert Marion, was born April 15, 1843. Robert Marion married Elizabeth, maiden name unknown. They moved to Polk County between 1866 and 1868. The first of their seven children was born in Missouri in 1866. Their second child was born in Arkansas in 1868. Harvey F. was the fourth child of Robert and Elizabeth. He married Solonia Caldonia Marrow at Carper Community which is near Cove. They had a family of eleven children. Harvey F., Caldonia and six other children are buried in Westview Cemetery. Tombstones with names and dates mark their graves. The ninth child of Harvey F. and Caldonia was also name Harvey. He married Dovie Isadora Dollahan on September 13, 1939.
