Location Information

| The land on which this cemetery is located is now owned by James Watts who lives in Texas (1983). John Ford once owned this land and had donated one acre to be used as a cemetery, according to Mrs. J. A. Wiles. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Wiles live on the adjoining land. (1983) It is believed that the first person buried here was an "unknown man" who was found dead on a country road near the community in the late 1860's. Mamie Keeler who was raised in this area was told by her father the names of some people buried in unmarked graves. They are in the unmarked grave section below. |
