Patti K. Oates is Principal Broker of Vision Realty.  David and Patti are owners of the firm.  The "Vision of Professionalism" has inspired David and Patti to build their firm with seasoned real estate professionals - professionals that have obtained their real estate broker's license.

Patti has been extremely active in the local Mena Area Board of REALTORS.  She has served as President, President Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, and as a Director.  She has Chaired various committees in the organization. In the year 2005, Patti is serving as the Chair of the Award for Excellence Program.  As chair she oversees reviewing the applications of fellow professionals which are seeking the Arkansas Realtors Association (ARA) prestigious Award for Excellence.  The Award for Excellence is achieved by closing a designated number of transactions a year coupled with dollar volume in sales.  Less than ten percent of of Realtors in the State of Arkansas achieve these awards.

She has chaired the Technology Task force for the Arkansas REALTORS Association and is a member of the Public Relations Committee for the state association.  She is also one of a six member task force studying the Million Dollar Awards criteria which evolved into the Award for Excellence Program.

Patti was selected by her fellow Realtors for the REALTOR-of-the-Year Award on two separate occasions.  She has also been a Million Dollar Awards recipient and an Award for Excellence Recipient with the Arkansas REALTORS Association.

Patti has attained her e-PRO® designation with the National Association of REALTORS.  Patti and her husband, David, are the only e-PROs® in the Mena Area Board of REALTORS.  Of 1,000,000 REALTORS across the nation their are approximately 5,000 REALTORS that have attained this designation.

Patti is one of 200 CyberStars® in the United States. The CyberStars are a select group of top agents from around the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Australia.  They are a premier networking, information-sharing group of technology-using market leaders in real estate today.

Patti has been in service to the real estate industry since 1970.  She began her career in real estate in the Dallas/Fort Worth market place.  She is a past member of the Greater Dallas Area Board of REALTORS where she was inducted into their Hall of Fame.  She has also been a member of the Arlington Board of REALTORS, the Fort Worth Board of REALTORS, and the Brownsville Board of REALTORS.

She was one of the first condominium developers in the United States developing in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, Houston, Amarillo and South Padre Island, Texas.  Prior to entering the real estate development field she served as Executive Vice President of a Dallas and Houston based mortgage banking firm and as Vice President of a stock brokerage house in Houston.

Patti is active in the community and currently serves as Treasurer of the Main Street Mena Program and has been active in the Vision 2010 process for the City of Mena.

David and Patti have settled in the Mena area and are enjoying the quality of life offered in this mountain community.  They own a ranch east of Hatfield, Arkansas, which adjoins their parent's ranch.
