Fri	1	December 1 thru 4 - The Nutcracker: A Children's Musical at the Little Theatre
	1	Pictures with Santa Historic Armory - corner of Maple and DeQueen 3:00 - 5:00 pm Dixon Photograph 479-394-1233 Santa will be available for visits and photographs will be taken by Dixon Photography. Your little ones won't want to miss sharing their wish list with the big man in red and you can capture the moment to fill your memory book.
	1	Horse Drawn Carriage Rides Beginning at 3 pm and until everyone has had their chance to take the ride! KC Carriages will once again offer their memorable horse drawn carriage rides during Mena's Christmas Festival. Departure will be from the historic armory on the corner of Maple and DeQueen Streets and will tour beautiful downtown Mena and take you by the Methodist Church's life nativity scene. 	1	Rotary Chili Supper Historic Armory 4:00 pm Contact Becky Horton at 479-394-4585 for information Warm up before or after the parade at the Rotary Chili Supper!. All proceeds to benefit Rotary Community Projects.
	1	Christmas Parade 6:00 pm Downtown Mena Street
	1	Christmas Fireworks Display 7:00 pm Join us after the parade to watch downtown Mena explode with Christmas Cheer! A giant fireworks display will set off the official Christmas lighting ceremony. Janssen Park will be lit up in thousands of twinkling lights. It's an event for all ages and we welcome you!
	1	Live Nativity Scene and Caroling First United Methodist Church at 501 9th Street adjacent to Janssen Park 7:30 - 9:00 pm 479-394-3051 After enjoying the fireworks display and lighting of Janssen Park, your heart will be warmed by this beautiful scene and enjoy the music of carolers. The church is also hosting an open house and refreshments will be available inside. Well see you there!
	1	Northside Shopping Center OPEN HOUSE from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm Enjoy a live appearance by REDEMPTION and register for the opportunity to win $500 in Northside Bucks. Shopping Center merchants will be open late with great Christmas promotions and bargains. What a great way to kick off the Holiday Shopping Seasons. Sun	3	Grandpa's Neighbors at Salem Baptist Church (Hwy 8 East @ Nunley) 2:30 pm Grandpa's Neighbors is a family musical group made up of Carol Neal and six of her daughters. They live in Bennington, OK. They enjoy the sweet mellow tones of acoustic instruments and sing many old gospel hymns, as well as songs they have written, in a style that is a pleasant mixture of country, bluegrass and southern gospel.

Fri	7	"A Victorian Christmas" Tour of Homes 5:00 pm Departure begins at 5:00 pm from historic armory on the corner of Maple and DeQueen. Advance Tickets: $10 (available at Union Bank, First National Bank, Chamber of Commerce.) At the Door: $12 The Mena Lioness Club once again welcomes you to come and tour some of Mena's most beautiful homes decorated in Christmas Splendor. Plenty of transportation will be available. Your tour will depart from the historic armory beginning at 5:00 pm. Homes on the tour include the historic Schaeffer house now owned by Scott and Ashley Bacca, Applewood Manor owned and operated by Herb and Edie Harper, the mountain top home of Gary and Kathy Boone, and the state home of Milt and Lillian Harned. Sat	9	Casa Christmas Ball 8:00 pm 1st Annual CASA Christmas Ball will be held at the Historic Armory Dress is formal/semi-formal. Dancing, desserts and coffee. Tickets are on sale from November 20 thru December 1 at Arvest Ban, Union Bank, Karen's of Mena, KENA Radio Station and Rich Mountain Community College.
Sun	10	Christmas Concert 3:00 pm Mena Middle School Auditorium Enjoy spectacular Holiday Music with live performances of the Ouachita String Ensemble, Hot Springs/Arkadelphia Chamber Orchestra, Mena Middle School Band and Mena High School Band
Sat	16	Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament for Charity 10:00 am until 5:00 pm Slice of Hollywood on Sherwood Street Cost: Recommended $10 to participate in All activities + refreshments. Participation is optional. All proceeds go to Arkansas Children's Hospital Charity. We will have Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament, arm wrestling, video games, raffles & much more.
